Health Education Campaigns

Each year the Student Health Advocates plan and implement a number of health related events or campaigns on campus. Check back here regularly to keep updated on what the SHAs have coming up next.

On a recent survey, 53% of UC San Diego students reported that on most days they do not get enough sleep so that they feel rested when they wake up in the morning. To help address this issue, the SHAs and Health Promotion Services created the "Zzz's = Degrees" campaign which provides students with tips on how to get more sleep. For more information on sleep including tips on establishing good sleep habits, visit the Health Promotion Services website.

The Testing Testing 1, 2, 3 campaign encourages people to get tested for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV.

Look out for various TT123 posters throughout campus and via our social media channels throughout the academic year.
